Subhashis received his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Uday Bandyopadhayay. His thesis project focused on the role of Sirtuin 3 in NSAID-induced gastric mucosal damage in rodent models. In the Patgiri lab, Subhashis is leveraging his expertise in mitochondrial biology to develop novel therapies for mitochondrial disease.

Poonam received her PhD from Dr. Avinash Bajaj‘s lab at the UNESCO-Regional Centre For Biotechnology, India. In the Patgiri lab, Poonam in working on a chemical strategy to restore mitochondrial homeostasis in disease.

Kusaji received his PhD from Dr. G. Mugesh‘s lab at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. In the Patgiri lab, Kusaji is developing novel tools to modulate cellular metabolism in health and disease.
